Geocache Description:

Saturday 25th October

A social gathering to say farewell to the better weather.

This event will be mainly social, though there is already one cache on the same hill, and several others nearby. We will be adding several caches in time for the event, in the surrounding area, which will subsequently become permanent. We see this another chance to chat about caching in general, and we would love to welcome some of the new cachers who have joined the game in recent weeks. It will also be an chance to swap travel bugs.

The event is to be held at the Hare & Hounds pub, Werneth Low, Hyde. This is thought to be the oldest public house in the area, serving food all day and having a selection of beverages for all tastes.

Gathering starts at 1pm, so why not find the caches in the area on the way there?
