Mission Bay is such a nice area, here is another reason to visit it. Lots of palm trees out here, but have you ever taken the time to notice them, and count them? Now is your opportunity! Total trek distance may be about a mile, but it could be shorter than that if you are a good guesser.
We day camp at this spot with our trailer often and really enjoy the area. I have wanted to place a cache here for the last couple months. If you see our trailer while you are searching, stop over and say hi!
Cache container is a 3" round plastic container, but the camo could fool you. Please be discreet near the cache area. It is a busy location.
Collect the waypoints listed and check the quantity of palms at that location. Use the code below to figure the final cache location. The co-ordinates above for a good, central area for parking. Count the palm trees only. If the area has a landscaped border, then all the trees within the border count. This rule is only needed at 1 location.
