This micro cache is tucked in a mini park in an industrial complex.
August, 2003's fire brought devastation to some hillsides near
Poway. Then a few months later, "Firestorm 2003" burned right up to
the edge of this previously scorched part of Poway!
There are a few nice benches to relax on while we watch nature
recover...from BOTH fires.

The cache is velcroed under a bench.
Note: It's hard to imagine, but we seemed to have found a park with
no parking!
(Apparently the city of Poway only wants people to DRIVE BY this
park....)
We've given a very specific clue so you can park and dash. Longer,
legal parking is available 2 tenths of a mile away in the Staples
mall on the corner of Community Road and Scripps Poway Parkway.
