An invigorating 3Km walk with the possibility of a delicious Dorset cream tea en-route.
Please note new coords, the cache has been relocated.
We chose this spot for the stunning views of Portland, Lyme, WestBay & Golden Cap. It's also on the route to our favourite tea rooms, So good that we travel from Yorkshire for the cream teas & shortbread at Down House Farm (N50 43.432 W002 47.610) closed Mondays.
Parking at N50 43.38 W002 49.35 or N50 43.05 W002 47.00.
If you want to start out with a cream tea & then walk it off you can park at Down House Farm & leave your car there whilst you do the cache, however parking is very limited, so please be considerate.
The Cache is an ammunition box & contains the usual goodies.
To start your search go to N50 43.200 W002 48.069 & answer the following question:-
"How many rectangles in the basket?" (12,24,36 or 48?)
ADD the answer to N50 43.161 & SUBTRACT the answer from W002 48.696.
You now have position 2.
Go to position 2 & answer the following question "What is 1/2 a mile away at East Chideock?"
insert the answer into this key:-
