This is another hard and strenuous walk for you to try. Sections of this walk are over sloping and unstable ground and may be quite slippery even when dry, so use extra caution when walking over these areas. Take your time and have a good look around the area that you are walking through. You may also see hawks and perhaps even an eagle or two.
Park your car at S32 22.759 E116 15.014 then with care, cross the highway and head up and over Sullivan Rock following the cairns of stone, in the general direction of the cache. You should be able to follow the track without too much trouble. Take a break at the cleaning station at S32 22.441 E116 15.234 while you clean your shoes. Take something to drink while you survey the area from the top. You'll be able to see Mt Cooke 7½ kms away bearing 137 degrees and Mt Cuthbert 1½ kms away bearing 358 degrees.
There is a barbeque and picnic tables at the parking area, so you could make it a picnic lunch before continuing on for the day. Allow at least two hours from the parking area for this cache. The total walk distance is approx 3.5 kilometres.
The cache contains the usual stuff, and is hidden about 70 metres from the top of the mountain.
