Geocache Description:

Up above the world so high.

The hike is not long (aprox 1.1mi RT from the suggested parking co-ords), but it is steep (500 ft +/- vertical gain). Best views are on a clear day, when you can see the entire San Fernando Valley spread out below you. If it's smoggy or cloudy, save yourself the effort.

Suggested parking is at N34 13.095 W118 38.893, on the street obviously! From here head up the horse path and follow your little arrow. There is at least one alternate approach (see 'Witchy Wealth' nearby), maybe two if you come the south instead. (If you start from somewhere else and get skunked, don't blame me!

) If you just want park and get started, this'll do.

Pants are strongly suggested to combat the shrubbery, water and sunscreen are also good ideas. Bugs, snakes and other assorted critters are all possibilties - bring a stick too.

The cache container is a 10" dia tupperware bowl, camo'd to fit in with it's surroundings. Unavoidable hint for safety's sake: When you get there, use the previously mentioned stick to check for crawlies before sticking your hand(s) in anywhere, ok? See the pic if you really get stumped.
