Cache is located in the South Parking. Could be a Fly-by or a Drive-by! A Hartsfield - Jackson International Airport virtual cache that will probably be easier for travelers than for locals!

This cache is in the DOMESTIC Terminal!!!!!! If you are are going from domestic to Internationale or vice versa you will have to add time to take a shuttle bus from one to another. This could add up to an hour to travel to and find the cache and then get to your flight. Domestic layover is no problem as you stay in the same terminal.

After enjoying our visit to Ramness570's Big Silver Bird Watching, we discovered a different species of Big Silver Bird right in the Atlanta Airport. The Cache is located in the South Parking area, where no physical cache could be appropriately placed.
To claim this find post a selfie with you in front of the statue. Everyone has a cell phone now with cameras. This is the logging requirement! No picture with your log and it will be deleted.
If you are interested here is a link to the sculptors webpage Leo Sewell. I spoke to MR Sewell the other day and his vision was of a lost business person with briefcase scurrying to catch a flight like a line of flightless birds in suits, hence penguins.
Important note: This is a security-conscious area. This cache should be easy enough to find, so avoid acting in any manner that might be construed as suspicious behavior. And please... don't even think about parking anywhere that isn't expressly permitted.

Passengers between flights!
You will have to leave the security area and go to the South Terminal Parking on the lower level. The bird is near the Delta Check-in. Remember to allow time for you to go back through TSA Security!!! Finding this species should be an easy score for anyone arriving or departing on an Atlanta flight.
Locals or Cachers with rental cars.
Locals could easily spot the Big Silver Bird on a drive-by, but it will be nearly impossible to answer the question without leaving your vehicle. There is a picture of how close you can drive too. This area is on the South Terminal lower level check-in, just past Delta Dash, the small freight office.
