Geocache Description:

The final GRIZZ cache. (Placed with DCNR - Bureau of Forestry permission.) Grizz told me that this was where he wanted to place his "next" cache. He had bought the ammo can and was waiting for the snow to leave before placing it.

You will be traveling on Bureau of Forestry roads to get to the cache area - no Winter maintenance and early Spring is iffy. [You can access the roads in Winter by snowmobile - park and unload at S.B. Elliott State Park.] Picking up a Moshannon State Forest map at the Forestry office (N 41 07.268 W 78 31.973) [open M-F, 8-4] is recommended. From 322 come in Dubec Road then north on Kelly Cellar Road. From 153 come west on Anderson Creek Road, then south on Gordon Road. You can park at N 41 06.776 W 78 34.082 at a four-way intersection, or you can drive the limited access road to an area .69 mile closer to the cache - N 41 06.585 W 78 34.832. The access road may look a little rough but it has a solid bottom all the way in - just watch your clearance. Park at the monument parking lot :). The cache has the traditional Grizz fodder - necklaces, pins and the like, rubber crayfish from Peeps, along with other oddities. Watch for snakes, ticks, and other natural hazards. Happy caching.
