Geocache Description:

This location has good views and an interesting location. There are beautiful wooded walks through to the cache which is about a 3/4 mile from the parking place. It is suitable for children, dogs and picnics.

The starting point is the car park for Badbury Clumps car park, an Iron Age Hill Fort.

The hill fort was constructed around 2500bc and still occupies a lovely location of about 9 acres of hill top. Unfortunately, much of the hill fort itself was destroyed in the 19th Century. More information about Badbury can be found at this web site.

The main car park is at N51°38.944', W01°37.405'.
