Part of a series of Asheville parks. A pleasent, quiet park with a bird sanctuary.
Out enjoying a beautiful day and exploring some trails, when I noticed this small footpath leading off in the woods. Discovered a very nice quiet area filled with only bird sounds.
Park is only open to the public in daylight, but has several beautiful sitting spots and lots of ducks. Enjoy!
Cache is a small 3" in diameter drink mix container, so bring only small things and a pen! Long pants would be good because of poison ivy (which seems to be everywhere this year). It is covered with bark so please re-hide it well.
