This cache is located very near the spot where Ansel Adams photographed Mt.Williamson in 1945 while documenting Japanese-Americans interned at Manzanar Relocation Center during World War II. (See picture) If you know the EXACT location where the photo was taken and disagree with our guess, send us the waypoint! NOTE: Easiest route is on the road at the north end of Manzanar. Take the first right AFTER leaving the park. The road gets a little rocky for low-clearance vehicles, use caution.
