A old mill site, with a nearby water fall.
One of the few Lacy drive by caches. You will be able to park within 1/5 mile of the cache, which is a drive by to us. Of course being a Lacy cache there are a few caveats. Which if you know us, you probably had guessed. 1) You will have to find the correct Forest Service Road to get to the parking spot. 2) While it is only 1/5 of mile from the parking spot, there is no trail to it you will have to go through the woods to it. But close to the cache and the reason for the cache is the remains of an old water powered mill. All that is left is the stone columns and stone walls. You can see remains of the raceway which brought water to the mill. Then there is the falls, which provided the water.
The remains of the mill are at N 34 32.156 W 83 24.671.
