An easy to find cache with some little-known World War II history. Please park on the tarmac entrance to the field gate, off the roundabout, not on the road. There is room to park without blocking the gate. PLEASE NOTE: There is usually heavy traffic adjacent to this cache site. supervise young children VERY closely.
The cache is a plaque which commemorates the "Incident at Bannial Flatt Farm" - the site of the first enemy plane to crash on English soil in the Second World War. The information used to shoot down this German bomber originated from the site of RADAR cache by Moose'nMang, which you might like to visit. You can learn more about the incident by looking at website (visit link)
Log this cache by sending an email giving the number of yards away from the plaque that the plane came down.
