Easy walk along the Centennial Trail
This is one of Pepper’s favorite places to train. Bring your dogs, roller blades, bikes or horses and enjoy this trail. We use this trail so often you might just see us roller blading by. This is a 3-part cache and initially has a dog theme. When this cache was hidden it had the following doggie items:
Floppy frisbee
Slip lead
Dog nail clippers w/ replacement blades
Dog rock
Boxer
Dalmatian
Address book
Button
Pins
Key chains
Medallion
ID tag
Magnets
Squeaky
Dog stickers
Step 1 – go to coordinates listed above and read the history of the Centennial Trail. Find what year Snohomish County purchased the land from BNRR. Take this year and subtract 1438 to get xxx.
Step 2 – walk to N47 59.364 W122 02.xxx and see Sadie and Rose. Double the number of Rose’s offspring and then subtract 2 to get yy. Just past Sadie and Rose there is a bench to sit and do the math.
Step 3 – find the cache N47 59.404 W122 02.5yy
Once you are parked in the parking lot for Step 1, stay parked there and walk to the next two coordinates. There is no parking near the final two coordinates. It is slightly over ½ mile, one way, of easy walking to complete this cache. DO NOT go on the other side of the chain link fence to look for cache!!
