Winter Solstice Polar Bear Swim
At Central Beach, by the hotel side,
We’ll face the chill, no place to hide.
With goosebump grins and toes gone numb,
We’ll splash right in — brave souls, here we come!
The sea may bite, the breeze may shout,
But that’s what polar swims are about.
Then thaw your paws with steamy cheers,
A nearby sauna and hot beverages await, my dears.
So bring your towel, your courage, your grin,
And let the winter madness begin!
Warm-ups are welcome, joyfully sourced —
Sauna and drinks are at your own cost, of course.
Inspired by our cousins down the drag we will be joining in the winter madness for the first Geocaching Polar Bear swim in Plettenbergbay at Central Beach

We will meet on the beach and do the swim, there is no need to get wet.
IngetjieZA and I will try arrange some warm drinks and there is a local sauna company for anyone wanting to warm up after, entirely at your own discression.
