Welcome to the Ancient Cottage!
To find this geocache, you’ll need to enjoy a short hike.
From the Coetzenburg parking area, follow the dirt road past the cricket fields and the Maties rock-climbing area. The road will climb steeply. At the top, take the first road to your right. After approximately 700 m, turn onto the road that comes in from the left. Continue along this road until you reach the cottage. This hike is approximately 3km from Coetzenburg. Alternatively, you may navigate directly using the coordinates.
You will need a PIN to open the cache. This PIN is located in a small, separate container attached to the main container. Please unclip the geocache container before opening it; otherwise, the cache contents may fall out. Also, do not pull on the rope.
Feel free to bring a picnic basket—there is a lovely bench and table nearby.
