What is GIFF?
The Geocaching International Film Festival takes is a festival with events all over the world to showcase amateur geocaching short films from around the world.
This is the 11th GIFF which showcases fun and interesting geocaching movies which geocachers have produced. This year's theme is "TFTC - Thanks For The Community".
More than 20 filmmakers from 10 countries were selected as finalists for the 11th biennial Geocaching International Film Festival (GIFF). From comedy to adventure, film noir to animation, filmmakers showed their appreciation for their local and global geoaching communities. What an amazing array of voices, ideas, and creativity!
This year's line up is as follows (see if you can spot the two South Africans):
Celebrate the creativity of the geocaching community by attending a GIFF Event November 6-16, and vote for your favourite films! Event attendees will earn an exclusive 2025 GIFF souvenir.
