Geocache Description:

It's Back to the bush for this next Cache. It was set with lots of help from my wife "Snifter"

You'll be happy (or maybe even horrified) to know that as of 10/10/05 this cache is now back in action, the only thing that has changed is that it has a new container

This cache is located in quite a rugged area that requires a little climbing to get to. One way to approach it is to use the trackhead located at(S)33'42.14,(E)151'04.85. However if there has been very heavy rain you may have to find another way. As always take care near the edge of rock ledges especially if they are wet.

PLEASE NOTE. The area of this cache has been devastated by some very frustrated searching for the stash. Oddly enough it was this very devastation that created the increased difficulty of finding the stash in the first place. It even took me a very long time to locate the cache which was completely hidden under a pile of broken trees and shrubs. On 11/07/2002 I cleared the area without moving the stash so it is once again visible for others to find. Now your hardest job should be finding your way back to the track, for your safety do this with great care, a backtracking GPS or a compass is probably a good idea in this sort of terrain.

Good luck and enjoy your search for "The Rock Hopper"
