This is a multi-cache with three micro-caches and a main cache. The above co-ordinates are for the place where you can park safely to complete all the cache stages.
You have heard of the “Bermuda Triangle”, well this is the “Halton Triangle” – don’t disappear without a trace!
When we put the cache out there was snow on the ground, there were wild turkey tracks everywhere so if you are quiet you may catch a glimpse of this magnificent but shy bird.
Stage One - The first micro-cache – The first micro-cache is a 35mm film container and is approximately 12m off the trail, it contains the co-ordinates for the second micro-cache. The co-ordinates for the first micro-cache are obtained as follows:
About 90 metres back from your parking spot is a sign that says dumping is prohibited, take the By-Law number (ignore the hyphen) and subtract the Maximum fine amount, reverse this number and divide by 1000. Add the result to both latitude minutes 27.324 and longitude minutes 50.204. The co-ordinates will be as N43 35.920 and W79 58.800. See Note: 26-09-2015
Stage Two – The second micro-cache – The second micro-cache is a 35mm film container with the co-ordinates for the third micro-cache inside, it is about 7m off the trail.
Stage Three – The third micro cache – The third micro-cache is a small plastic container with the co-ordinates of the main cache, this micro-cache is 20m from the trail.
Stage Four – The Main Cache – The main cache is a Rubbermaid container approximately 9”X5”X1.5” so bring fairly small items to trade. The cache is about 6m from the trail.
Please do not take the laminated coordinate tag from stages 1, 2 & 3.
