If you walk long enough in PA's State Game Lands, you're bound to find a new and exiciting location! Should you decide to partake in this adventure, you will be hiking about 1.5 miles each way, with double that being your round trip distance. Add even more to that if the gate off Wopsy Road is closed. I used the "trail mode" map on the Geocaching app and found that it's pretty accurate with the actual trail that will lead you to your destination. I would imagine other apps and GPS devices would yield the same results. If not, this will be as good test of your trail tracking skills!
There is a closer way to get to the cache, but that will require some research on your part. Should you choose that journey to the cache, swap the difficulty and the terrain.
The time of year may depend on how you choose your path for the last few hundred feet to the cache. The amount of water down here depends on factors such as rainfall, snowmelt, and things of that sort. Expect way more water in the late winter and spring months, or after a prolonged series of thuderstorms.
The container you seek is a small/regular-sized Lock&Lock container.
Please be safe and wear orange during hunting season!
