Meet the Kitty
Cat Servant: Kcoffin73
The Cat: Princess
Princess was one of the kittens we fostered that we kept. She earned her name as her preferred seat was her throne, the arm of the recliner. Princess would meow for treats every chance she could. Princess ate table food and enjoyed eating ice cream with me. Princess was over 18 years old and we lost her recently. She would come for pets and snuggles on her terms. When Princess was younger, she was an explorer/killing machine. One story - she had brought in a red squirrel, dead, and rolled it up in the tablecloth hangover on the hall table. It took months looking for the smell. The present was not found until a deep clean was done and the petrified squirrel was discovered.
The Trail
The Fred Meijer Flat River Valley Rail-Trails runs from Belding to Greenville and caches are placed within the right of way for the trail. A few caches are placed along the Fred Meijer Flat River Trail that circles Greenville and a few are on the sides of the roads. You can walk, run, bike, snowshoe, and cross country ski the rail-trail between Belding and Greenville. Currently the majority of rail-trail is not paved; it is crushed asphalt.
Parking
Coordinates for parking are in the additional waypoints of the first cache to this Geo-Art, GCAWHAX.
Caches
Some caches may require wading, short tree climbs, log crossing, and climbing up steep hills. Many of the caches are winter friendly but several are at ground level. You may need to dig through the snow for a few. All containers are painted sports bottles with a tube inside for the log book. Containers are tethered to location with strong camoed fish line. Please do not break. Do not add any swag to the container or the next may not be able to get out the log book. If a cap comes up missing, please, let CO know or carry a few sports bottle caps with you. If the fish line breaks, fix or let the CO know.
Please be respectful of this area!
