The New Gnome Trail is an often overlooked family (& pet) friendly hiking trail near Maple Valley. It is a short loop decorated with gnomes, most of them provided by the public. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own gnomes and fairy houses to decorate the trail. But other critters are found on the trail- fairies, ponies, dragons, & other magic folk.
To be clear: This is encouraged and maintained by the city- this is not an unofficial place to drop a bunch of things into the woods.
There is free parking and bathrooms available, but NO drinking water.
The plan is to meet at the pavillion in the parking lot.
We can swap stories, trade trackables, and generally chat about Geocaching.
I'll have a table with trackables to discover, a swap station, and logbook.
There will be a free drawing of some items for the trail, and some other caching goodies!
