Nine Maidens #1 - Morgen
Set in close proximity to a local establishment of the same name, the Nine Maidens series of caches will take you over open access lands, public access farmlands, tracks and footpaths. Each of the caches are named after the Sisters of Avalon, part of Authurian legend and a popular representation of the groups of nine women mythology, which in Great Britain is known as the Nine Maidens, Nine Sisters or Nine Sorceresses. Many cultures around the globe have different tales about the maidens.
Beware, some of these caches are on challenging terrain, but all are of the same type. Camouflaged petlings about 4 inches in length. You will find some footpaths overgrown, or going through farms and farmland, but it is all open access to the public. Suggested parking location is provided with the first cache in the series. If you choose to do this series in one go, if will take you approx. 3.5 to 4 hours, so be prepared.
Tweezers WILL be required on all caches to remove the log.
