#1 - Olaines pilsētas notekūdeņu attīrīšanas iekārtas (NAI)
2009.gada nogalē tika atklātas jaunas Olaines pilsētas NAI. Olaines pilsētas NAI paredz notekūdeņu mehānisko attīrīšanu un bioloģisko attīrīšanu, izmantojot aktīvo dūņu tehnoloģiju organisko vielu (BSP un ĶSP), kā arī slāpekļa atdalīšanai. Dūņu apsaimniekošanai paredzēta mehāniskā dūņu atūdeņošana centrifūgā un to uzglabāšana dūņu novietnē. Projektētā notekūdeņu attīrīšanas iekārtu jauda ir 4471 m3/dnn (vidējā plūsma sausā laikā). Maksimālā plūsma lietus laikā – 8040 m3/dnn. Uz NAI tiek novadīti notekūdeņi no Olaines pilsētas iedzīvotājiem, iestādēm un ražošanas uzņēmumiem.
Olaines pilsētā ir vairākas lietus ūdeņu izplūdes vietas Olaines pilsētas kanālā. Pilsētas lietus ūdeņi, izņemot rūpnieciskās zonas lietus ūdeņus, netiek attīrīti. Rūpnieciskās zonas lietus ūdeņi kopā ar tehnisko ūdeni tiek novadīti uz attīrīšanas iekārtām.

#1 - Olaine city wastewater treatment plant (WWTP)
At the end of 2009, a new WWTP of Olaine city was opened. The WWTP of Olaine envisages mechanical treatment and biological treatment of wastewater using activated sludge technology for the removal of organic substances (BOD and COD) and nitrogen. Mechanical dewatering of sludge in a centrifuge and its storage in a sludge storage facility are intended for sludge management. The designed capacity of the wastewater treatment plant is 4471 m3/dnn (average flow in dry weather). Maximum flow during rain – 8040 m3/dnn. Sewage from residents, institutions and production companies of Olaine is discharged to the WWTP.
The city of Olaine has several rainwater discharge points in Olaine city canal. The city's rainwater, except for the rainwater of the industrial area, is not treated. The rainwater of the industrial area together with the technical water is directed to the treatment facilities.
