Manifest Destiny Challenge Mystery Cache

The growth of the United States began with the original thirteen colonies, which became the first states upon ratifying the Constitution. As the country expanded westward through purchases, treaties, and conquests, new territories were acquired. Each new territory, once settled and meeting specific requirements, could apply for statehood and be admitted to the Union. This process continued throughout the 19th and early 20th centuries, reflecting the nation's expanding geographical and political landscape. The addition of states was driven by factors such as population growth, economic development, and political considerations, culminating with the admission of Alaska and Hawaii in 1959, completing the current roster of 50 states.

In order to log this challenge, you must find a minimum number of caches in at least 13 different states. The minimum number of caches is equal to the order that the state was admitted to the union. So for example, you would only need 1 cache in Delaware (since it is the 1st state), however for Hawaii you would need to find 50 caches (since it is the 50th state). The required number of caches will vary depending on which states you use. All previous and archived caches count. The list of states in the order they were admitted is below.
