Another cache in the RCHMS.
My grandfather, who grew up a few miles away from this spot, enjoyed sharing with me stories about the area. As a kid he actually visited the site of what he called "the Factory" and told me at that time you could still see some of the ruins. He stated that he had been told that at one point 100 wagon loads of supplies were being brought in a day for use at "the Factory". The actual location of the "the Factory" was somewhere off Pin Oak Creek. My cousin and I even had an opportunity once in the 70's to try and find the ruins for ourselves. Sadly, we were unsuccessful. Give us a break, we were barely teenagers at the time. This road can be busy these days, be sure to use caution when parking near the cache.
