Ramučiai yra miestas į rytus nuo Kauno, prie A1 magistralės. Miestelis senas, įsikūrė XVI a., bet tada vadinosi Davalgonys (pirma karta paminėta 1567m. Lietuvos Metrikoje). Miestelis turėjo dvarą, kuris tarpukariu buvo duotas Silvestrui Žukauskui, jis čia gyveno nuo 1927 m. iki kada jis čia mirė 1937 m. Sovietmečiu dvaras ūžėme S. Neries kolūkio kontora. Apie dvarą ir miestelį nelengva rasti informacijos.
Ramučiai is a city east of Kaunas, on the A1 highway. The town is old, it was established in the 16th century, but then it was called Davalgonys (first mentioned in 1567 in the Lithuanian Metrica). The town had a manor, which was given to Silvestres Žukauskas in the between war period, he lived here since 1927. until when he died here in 1937. During the Soviet era, the manor was a collective farm and S. Neris (Lithuanian writer) owned it.
