Acknowledgement of Country
This Geocaching Event acknowledges the Kabi Kabi people (pronounced Gubbi Gubbi) who are and always have been the traditional owners of what is now the Sunshine Coast and formally recognise them as the native title holders. We respect the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we celebrate this event. We would also like to pay our respects to their Elders, past and present, and acknowledge that the Kabi Kabi people have been an integral part of the history of the region.
