Cache #5 on the BPRD Geocaching Passport
Welcome to Tatley-Eagles Park!
Tatley-Eagles Park has two baseball diamonds, two batting cages, sand volleyball courts, playground, restrooms and parking lot, as well as a warming house for the hockey and pleasure rinks during the winter months. Tatley-Eagles Park is also home to one of several community garden locations within the park district.
BPRD partners with Bismarck Community Gardens for those gardens on park district property. Bismarck Community Gardens supports the efforts of Hunger Free Garden and encourages participation by donation of excess produce and fruit to local community food pantries or food programs.
Bismarck Parks and Recreation District (BPRD) has partnered with the North Dakota Geocaching Association (NDGCA) and Bismarck-Mandan Area Geocachers to establish 12 geocaching sites within BPRD’s system of parks and trails.
To participate in the BPRD Geocache Challenge, take a passport from the container or get one in advance by printing it or picking it up from the park office during normal business hours. Match the hole punch to the coordinating number on the passport. Once you have found all 12 of the park caches, return to BPRD office at 400 E. Front Ave., Bismarck, to claim your prize!
Remember to place the container back exactly where you found it for the next visitor to enjoy!
