Geocache Description:

This is the 19th in the Rest n' Peace Cemetery Series - Centre County.  Rock Springs Cemetery is a long retired resting place that has multiple burials, some over 200 years old! We've all seen the marker for this cemetery on Rte 45, but this geocache takes us right to the place itself. Note: This is a re-piblication of the original (https://coord.info/GC6GDJG) but feel free to find it again!

This cemetery is located on PSU property and is open to the public for general enjoyment, but is ONLY ACCESSIBLE FROM DAWN UNTIL DUSK.  You can drive most of the way back from Gate G to get near the cache, and can park off the gravel road at the parking coordinates.  A lot of the area is research plots, so please do not drive over the grass, as it may be someones research!!  As you walk back towards GZ along the field edges, note the huge ravine that forms two edges of the cemetery.  At the bottom is a small cave where we stuff cachers who don't respect cemeteries or posted time contraints!

Finding the Cache

To find this cache, you will NOT need to move any stones nor dig in any stumps, so please do neither.  Your geosenses and the coordinates should suffice, but should you need a nudge, please read the hint BEFORE touching even a single rock in the wall.

Interments here can be found on other public websites. As with any cemetery cache, please be respectful of those who are interred here, and please do not touch the blue flags. These denote unmarked graves.
