24th KC Area Picnic Event - End of Summer!

Location: Shawnee Mission Park, Shelter 4

[ 9:30 am] - Pre-Picnic CITO @ GCAWD7T
[ 11:00am ] - "Doors" open.
[ 11:30am ] - Raffle Table will open
[ 12:00pm ] - Picnic Meal, games, and socialize with your fellow cachers.
[ 1:00pm ] - Geo-Bingo Winners picked
[ 1:15pm ] - Raffle Winners announced
[ 1:45pm ] - Farewell Comments
[ 2:00pm ] - Area Restoration and departure
Non-time specific activities will include a Trackables table, Geo-Bingo, Corn hole and other activities.
Food & Drinks
KCGO will be providing chicken, salad, and chips. Please bring other sides to share with everyone, and your drink(s) of choice if you would like to have something other than water. We will povide a few cases of bottled water. Guests travelling more than 50 miles may provide donation amount of your choosing in lieu of food items. Of course, donations are happily accepted from local cachers, too! 
Amenities
This facility has a nearby swimming beach, boat ramp and fishing access. Restrooms are also nearby. Feel free to wander around, use the available accomodations, and maybe go hunt for some nearby caches! Just remember to be back at GZ by 12:45pm in order to have your name added to the raffle.
Raffle Prizes
Each attending Geocacher will be automatically entered into the Raffle. Additional raffle tickets may be purchased should you want more chances to win. Additional tickets will be sold for $1/each or $5 for 6 tickets. The money collected will help offset the costs of this and future picnics.
At this time we will be accepting donations for prizes and taking in volunteers who might want to help out with the food/trackables table. Please contact Maerisheep or PenguinK1ng via PM or Email if you would like to help in any way.
Please post your "Will Attend" logs so that we can get an idea on the headcount and so that you will get notified of any changes made to the event.
With that said, let's have some fun with the awesome community we have created! Invite all your local and non-local Geocaching friends and maybe that one muggle friend that has been on the fence about joining the game.
