Welcome to Redbrook Metropark. This area is the former home of a country club and golf course that sits on a 146 acres. The metropark boasts a 3 miles of paved trails, beautiful forests, meadows, and floodplain protecting 2 miles of Red Brook.As a public park and nature preserve; just steps away from Lake Erie, Red Brook Metropark also has a 1 milke ADA accessible loop, a favorite running and walking route, and is a haven for fishing, neighborhood picnics and birding hikes, and a sledding hill. The area is the former home of the Ashtabula Harbor Country Club and Golf Course. Once upon a time, I played High School Golf here.
This 2 stage multi will be easy to find and challenging to get your name on the log. When setting out to find this cache, be sure to plan ytour route carefully. Please keep in mind this is not a easy hike. The trail to get here is primitive, has elevation changes and the terrain could be wet with hidden "divots". Please be careful and watch your step.
