You're looking for a cache placed on the southern end of Quarry Lake, about 65 feet off of the Quarry Lake Trail.
The quiet, peaceful scene at Harrington Beach State Park contrasts sharply with its former life as a quarry and booming company town. From the 1900s through 1920s, Lake Shore Stone Company quarried a great quantity of limestone from this location. Now a part of the 715-acre Harrington Beach State Park, the former quarry is now a 23-acre lake with a depth of about 45 feet, with a one mile-long looped scenic trail that encircles it.
We hope you enjoy your time at Harrington Beach State Park!
