Originally placed as a climbing series I noticed from time to time that the containers are "modified" to get them from the ground with a long stick and without climbing up the tree.
It seems that is more and more common this type of hiding. That´s why I decided to place this mixed Geocaches. The old trail had many logs and the Caches are no longer usable also a lot of trees are removed here in the wood.
Some of the Caches are still climbing Caches and it is 100% necessary to climb up the tree because the container is fixed. Others can be "fished" with a stick. In both cases Caches are not very high. I estimate the height at 4 to 6 meters. In very few cases there are beautiful climbing trees and Caches are a bit higher. You will see it when you are there.
I have chosen T4 for all Caches. Why? If you climb up the tree, well it´s T4 climbin without any gear. And if you are fishing the container from the ground it should be T5 according to the guidelines because you need "special equipment" but T5 for just standing on the ground is not the right rating I think and since it is the owners opinion I think T4 is a good avarage rating for this little series.
The most important thing is that you have fun and enjoy the walk around the wood. You can also use your bike but the road sometimes is a bit impassable even more after rainy days.
I gave the Trail the name "Dog Trail" because I always used to walk with my dog here in the wood, sadly he is not alive now because of old age.
Caches are Reversecaches. You have to Download the Cartridge and put in the numbers written below. Than your phone or GPS devise will show you the distance to the Cache but not the coordinates.
