The Hooker Valley walk at Mount Cook is one of the most popular walking track in the Mount Cook National Park. The Department of Conservation (DOC) maintain the track and have erected three very substantial swing bridges which cross the Hooker River.

The track starts at the camping and parking area at White Horse Hill and follows up alongside the Hooker river to the Lake Hooker The return track is 10km return alng the same track. Allow 3 hours return and be prepared to walk along the track with a large number of other walkers.
