Let me ask you a question: Are you sappy? Do you like being sappy? Well dont be sappy, be sweet!
Over the past few years, some other caches and I have been tapping thier maple trees so we can enjoy the experience of making our own maple syrup. Back when I started this my first year I mentioned to GT-Charlie that it sure would be fun to have all our friends get together. Sit around a campfire all day and have one masive boil down session, then cap it off with a pancake dinner, using our newly made maple syrup. Doesn't that sound fantastic and yummy. Well thats just what we are going to do!
You can come for a minute, hour or spend the whole day with us. If you have some of your own sap and want to boil it down, you are more than welcome. Maybe you just want to come and see how its done. Heck, even if you dont have any sap you welcome to attend.
There is plenty of parking at the additional way point listed and our camp sites are just a short walk from there. The boiling will be near sites 5 and 6. Which is also conviently across the street from the restroom. If you have one, you might want to bring a chair.
