Two of my favorite ways to spend an hour both involve walking in circles - geocaching and labyrinth walking. The Labyrinth Society offers this introduction:
What is a Labyrinth?
A labyrinth is a meandering path, often unicursal, with a singular path leading to a center. Labyrinths are an ancient archetype dating back 4,000 years or more, used symbolically, as a walking meditation, choreographed dance, or site of rituals and ceremony, among other things. Labyrinths are tools for personal, psychological and spiritual transformation, also thought to enhance right-brain activity. Labyrinths evoke metaphor, sacred geometry, spiritual pilgrimage, religious practice, mindfulness, environmental art, and community building.
How to walk a Labyrinth.
There's no right or wrong way to walk a labyrinth and there are a myriad of websites offering suggestions My favorite way involves 3 steps:
1. As you walk toward the center, set an ntention or offer a prayer - name what's on your mind
2. At the center contemplate your topic or spend time praying, speaking, listening.
3. As you walk back out, leave behind your stress or pain and walk out toward life

To log the cache do the following:
1. Standing at the coordinates facing the labyrinth, look to your right There are 3 designs in the pavers At the center of each design you will see a circular symbol surrounded by 4 words Send me a message with those four words
2. In your log include a photo of your feet (or a personal belonging) in the center of the labyrinth
I hope you enjoy your visit to one of my favorite spots
