Pispalan portaat sijaitsevat Tampereella Pispalan kaupunginosassa. Portaat johtavat Pispalanharjun yli ja kulkevat eteläpuolella Vallikadulta ylös Pispalanharjulle. Porrasosuuksien väliin jäävät Pispankatu ja Provastinkatu.
Jääkaudelta peräisin olevan Pispalanharju on Suomen korkein soraharju. Harjua ylös ja alas pääsee monesta kohtaa pitkiä portaita pitkin. Monet Tamperelaiset urheilijat ovatkin käyttäneet Pispalan portaita harjoittelupaikkanaan. Monesti paikallisten jääkiekkojoukkueiden pelaajia nähdään juoksemassa portaita ylös ja alas. Onpa saattanut Raipenkin suusta lähteä lentävä lause: "On sitä ennenkin Pispalan Portaita rampattu."
Aikanaan Pispalan portailla sijaitsi myös tradikätkö.
Tehtävä
1. Laske kuinka monta portaita on. Tasanteet ja kiviset rappuset lasketaan mukaan. Rotvalleja ei. Huomaa, että netistä löytyvä tieto ei välttämättä ole oikein.

3. Ota kuva portaista ja itsestäsi tai jostain sinulle kuuluvasta (nimilätkä, peukalo, GPS,jne). Pimeän aikaan koita saada edes pieni osa portaista kuvaan näkyviin. Liitä kuva loggaukseesi.

The Pispala stairs are in Tampere, in the Pispala district. The stairs lead over Pispalanharju and run on the south side from Vallikau up to Pispalanharju. Between the stair sections are Pispankatu and Provastinkatu.
Pispalanharju is originated from the ice age and is the highest ridge in Finland. One can use stairs (Pispalan portaat) to go up and/or down the ridge. Many athletes from Tampere has used the stair as an exercising place.
Years ago there used to be also traditional cache at Pispalan portaat.
Task
1. Count how many stairs there are. Platforms and stone steps are included. No road curb stones included. Please note that the information found on the internet may not be correct.
2. Send your answer by email to geoweellu@gmail.com. Put GCAJFY1 as the subject of the e-mail and in the message contents only the answer you received from task one. For example

3. Take a picture of the stairs and yourself or something that belongs to you (name tag, thumb, GPS, etc.). In the dark, try to make even a small part of the stairs visible in the picture. Attach a picture to your log. See photo above how it is supposed to look.
Logs without a photo and sent answer to the task will be deleted.
