Welcome to Tampa International Airport, home to a sculpture by artist Matthew Mazzotta who titled the piece 'HOME' a 21-foot tall flamingo whom recently was given the new name of Phoebe in a naming contest .
The sculpture is made from polyester resin and fiberglass and it depicts a flamingo with its head and feet submerged in water, and will be giving you the illusion of reflecting underwater standing with it.
You will find Phoebe in the center of the Main Termainal Hub which is public accessible without needing a plane ticket
( please note if your on the airsides (gates) in the airport on a layover, you will have to leave the secured area and will have to go back thru TSA search checkpoints again before catching your connecting flight )
