The cache is not located at the posted coordinates but it is a good place to park. From the posted coordinates, walk about 60' east (towards the entrance of the visitor center) where you find a small memorial, on a boulder, low to the ground. There is an outline of a state on the memorial plaque. Enter the name of the state into the geochecker below to obtain information about finding the cache.
The cache is only available when the visitor center is open so plan your visit accordingly. You must sign the log in order to log this cache as found.

The Maine State Visitor Information Center at Maine's southern border can be accessed from I-95 northbound at mile marker 3 or from US Route 1 on the northern end of Kittery. The Information Center is staffed by professional Travel Counselors offering information about destinations, accommodations, services, and travel conditions in Maine. Maps, guides, and other publications are offered free of charge. Information is also available through an interactive digital kiosk that can send details and driving directions directly to visitors' phones.
Visitors can relax in various seating areas and free wi-fi is available. There's also a camping-themed kids' hang-out spot. Photo opportunities for visitors include a giant lobster trap, a replica of the Maine World Traveler sign, and a wooden lobsterman. The rest area where the Information Center is located also features 24-hour restrooms and vending machines, a pet exercise area, wooded picnic tables, and a photo-ready Welcome to Maine sign.
