One cache in a series for the month of October celebrating some things I love about the season.
Today it is about when the merch hits the shelves.
It starts in August. I wonder how early they will start this year. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not complaining. It never start early enough for me. When do the back-to-school supplies disappear and are then replaced with inflatables, costumes, giant bags of candy, and endless hanging skeletons and boxes of proximity triggered pop up ghouls and monsters? The breakup into 3 categories: The seasonal store that moves into the abandoned Chuck E Cheese or TJ Maxx, the home supply stores that one day suddenly have entrances dominated by 15 foot tall skeletons, and the retail stores with the seasonal dedicated aisles. It’s a welcome sign that the season is here!
