This is an awesome spot with some cool caches. There is no fee to park, and there are 2 locations you can park at (see waypoints). I am coordinating with Sonoma Water which organizes many clean ups along our waterways. I will supply some trash bags, gloves, and some water. I will have sanitizer. I will have a small first aid kit, but don't get hurt. Be safe. Don't mess with anything super heavy, flammable, or dangerous. I will try to bring a few grabbers. This event will be held rain or shine. There are no restrooms at the event or at the park. There are stores and fast food places not too far away if you need to use a restroom.
I will be focused on the efforts of cleaning up, so there will be no raffle, but you can bring trackables to discover or move along. There are 2 creeks (This is the site of the confluence of Brush and Santa Rosa Creeks), so if you are feeling adventurous you can get to the other side for some clean up. If you choose to stay comfy and dry, there is a paved trail and a gravel trail along the creeks. You can avoid it, but there is poison oak, there are ticks, snakes, thorns, and squirrels.
This is a great area to cache, walk, bike, jog (lol) or enjoy the nature. I have seen otters at GZ!
