01 Campsite Walk

This is the first cache of a series which leads from the South of England Showground across to Horsted Keynes station on the Bluebell Line, and then back to the Showground. The Campsite Walk has 34 caches plus two Little Bridges on the route and is about 8 miles in length, but with some steep hills - hence the T rating (for most of the series), which assumes the whole series is undertaken in one go. There are a few other caches just off the route. The route can be very muddy in winter and there are plenty of stiles on the way round.

If the whole route is too long then you can split it in two different ways. You could park a car close to Horsted Keynes station and walk from the Showground to the station, doing the reverse for the other leg. Alternatively you could cut across from between 06 and 07 to Highbrook continuing on with the series from 23, then use the same cut through starting from the other end of the loop and breaking off after 22.
