This year marks the 20th World Wide Flash Mob. The WWFM is an event that happens all over the world on the same day and same time. It's a chance for geocachers to get together and bring attention to our game. This year will mark the 4th flash mob that we've hosted and it has been 9 years since the last one. For past Bakersfield WWFM events the number of geocaching entities attending: IX = 20, X = 13, XI = 12. Can we have a better showing this year? This year show your geocaching pride by wearing your favorite geocaching outfit and or displaying a sign or banner with your caching name, caching since date, and anything you want to brag about. This is optional. Repeat, This is optional! We once saw a cacher's log where it was stated he never wrote a log of less than 121 words.

Here's how it works: Show up at the given coordinates at 10:00. Stay in your car or mill around until that time. We'll have a log to sign and get a quick picture to be posted on gcwwfm.com with the rest of the pictures from around the world Geocaching.com WILL NOT have a souvenir for this event. Every registered geocaching name that is on the log for this Event will receive, FROM US, a physical souvenir.
