This geocache is placed at the entrance of the community track in the West Marion Community. It is placed in honor of Marie Franklin, a former teacher of West Marion Elementary School. She worked tirelessly to make sure that there was a safe place for members of the community to walk and play. It is placed within 4 feet inside of the entrance of the track and it is easily accessible day or night.
