September 9th is Worldwide Flashmob Day! In hundreds of cities around the world, tens of thousands of geocachers are hosting flash mobs: some coordinated at the exact same time! The WWFM is the annual GEOCACHING flash mob extravaganza which was started in 2007 by Team PodCacher.
This will be Logan's 4th WWFM Event (2021 and 2022 were held out west during QOGM).
At this Flashmob event, please follow these instructions precisely. It is recommended that you get to the event a little early and wander around the area like a muggle, as flashmobs require very precise timing!
Please collect some A4 paper sheets from the Shelter at the coordinates.
Schedule:
At precisely 11.30 am - Take out your sheet of paper and make your paper airplane
At 11.40 am - Move towards the central park area and form a large circle. At the given signal, fly your paper plane into the circle center
At 11.50 am - Gather together facing toward the horseman statue for a few group photos. Then CITO!
At 12.00 pm - The event is over. Walk off in a random direction, dispersing in varying directions as if nothing had happened!
