Taffatal
Die Taffa ist ein linker Nebenfluss des Kamp, der das westliche Horner Becken und die daran im Westen anschließende Wild entwässert. Der Name leitet sich von slawisch Dabina ab, was soviel wie „Schluchtbach“ bedeutet. Die Taffa mündet in Rosenburg in den Kamp.
Diese Runde führt Euch einen Teil durch das wildromantische Flußtal der Taffa. So nah
der Stadt lädt diese kleine Wanderung ein die Natur zu genießen, die Geschichten der
Gegend zu entdecken und ein paar Caches zu finden.

Natürlich gab es auch hier eine interessante Geschichte um die Entstehung des Brunnens. Gespeist wurde das Bründl von einer oberhalb gelegenen Quelle, die aber heute bereits versiegt ist. Heute tropft nur noch das umliegende Grundwasser durch die Brunnenöffnung. Benannt ist der Brunnen nach einer Gräfin Hoyos - nach der im Jahre 1913 verstorbenen Gräfin Elenore Hoyos-Sprinzenstein.

The name is derived from the Slavic word Dabina, which means "ravine stream". The Taffa flows into the Kamp in Rosenburg.

On the path leading from the brewery into the Taffa Valley is the "Eleonoren Fountain"
Of course, there is also an interesting story about the origin of the fountain. The fountain was fed by a spring above, which has now dried up. Today, only the surrounding groundwater drips through the fountain opening. The fountain is named after a Countess Hoyos - Countess Elenore Hoyos-Sprinzenstein, who died in 1913.
