Richie and I have decided to host a CITO leaving from Turnaware Point (beach) to clear rubbish from the inaccessible areas on this section of the river. We would be glad of your company and assistance and I am sure the wildlife will be grateful too.
We will provide black bags but you will need to bring your own gloves. We will remove all rubbish collected and take it to the local civic amenity site.
There is free parking at the waypoint listed and it is all downhill from there. You will need to allow yourself around 15 minutes to get to the launch area. Please note, parking is free, but on a first come, first served basis.
Please ensure that you log a "Will Attend" so that you receive notifications of any changes. The CITO will go ahead regardless of the weather.
We are more than happy to see land CITO'ers too, for those who have an aversion to the water or are lacking the neccessary vessel.
