Sadly, I had to archive my old treasure box cache. The wooded area in which it
was hidden was clear cut. All the bushes and trees were cut down and mowed over
and the box ended up missing. This cache was very special to me, so I am going
to remaster it. It is probably a good thing since many who thought they found it
and gave themselves credit for it did not sign the REAL LOG.
It was originally created around the time of the Seafair and in the thoughts of
the Pirates hiding treasures with a “mamacats twist”. This new treasure box is
being changed a bit because for some strange reason many people did not
understand the premise around “treasure boxes” and often did not find the log.
They just put in a “throw down” log and others signed it blindly like sheep! So
often I would have to take it out and have mc3cats put in a new log of his
creation. This is a “MAMACATS TREASURE BOX”. Treasure means you have to HUNT,
LOOK, FIND, SEARCH. The container is only part of the cache. (like the hard
candy coating on an M&M). The treasure is inside. If you don’t find it, keep
looking. If you don’t find it KEEP LOOKING! If you don’t find it DON’T put in a
FAKE log and claim you found it!!! At the “Cat” house we have lots of treasure
boxes in which to find treasures. So think with your brain and hunt with your
eyes. If you don’t find the “real treasure” it does not count as finding this
cache. (oh, and please don’t share details on here about the log as some did on
my last cache page). Phone a friend or ask someone who thinks like “mamacats” to
help you. Enjoy and think like a cat!
To preserve the fun for all,
PLEASE DO NOT PUT A THROW DOWN LOG IN THE CONTAINER.
The log is in the container, you just have to find it.
That's part of the fun of this cache.
At the listed coordinates you will see a new metal power tower. On the tower
you will see two rows of yellow numbers on a black background. Use those numbers
to figure out the final coordinates for the treasure box. The cache can be
found at:
