Marlborough Friends Meeting is located in the center of the village of Marlborough, near Kennett Square PA. Built in 1801, it overlooks scenic Chester County farm fields and holds a special place in local history. It is a well-preserved building which is on several historic tours.
Mini Penguin thought this would be a cool place to hide a cache since there is a lot of family history attached to this meeting house.
In 1800, two of Mini Penguin's ancestors were founding members & helped build it.
In 1803, one of Mini Penguin's ancestors was the first to be buried in this cemetary.
c. 1820, one of Mini Penguin's ancestors taught school here.
The list goes on, but you get the idea! It is a very special place. This shouldn't be too hard since a Librarian's goal is to help folks find that for which they seek.
